Imagine having FIVE kids UNDER 6 years old and one of them which can’t walk and still says goo goo gaa gaa??? Out the house we go. If you have a developing football team like me, here some simple steps to help you successfully load up your team in the car. This seems like a simple task right? But if its not organized properly, it can throw off you and your family’s whole schedule.
Step 1
Everyone walks to the van except the 9 month old. It’s best to carry her in her car seat already buckled in. Every kid carries their own book bag or toy. Parent must carry the diaper bag (small diaper bags are the best).
Step 2
Open both sliding doors, if you have one door that’s cool, instruct older kids to get in their seats. The best order of seating would be the older three in the back the two younger kids in the middle seat. Next, load the 9-month-old and immediately buckle the child in the seatbelt or lock their chair in the base. The two year old also needs assistance with his/her seatbelt.
Step 3
“Kids buckle up”!
Kids in the back buckle themselves in. Parents, it’s important that they learn how to buckle themselves in and the difference it make in the whole team becoming more time efficient.
Step 4
Ok, close their doors…. Look around and make sure no child or bags are left behind. Aright we all set.
Step 5
Mom and Dad, You get in the car. Adjust the car temperature, put on your shades, and we out!
Team, let’s get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
