Gospel rap artist Andy Mineo experienced a little controversy recently when he posted a picture on Instagram of a new t-shirt he was selling on his website.

The shirt had the above picture of Tupac Shakur with lyrics from his Uncomfortable album, “Cause Pac did a lot more for me than Barack, Salute.” Mineo stated in the caption that, “This isn’t about the praise or demonization of anyone, it is about the power of art.”

Some fans loved the shirt however others had a problems accepting the shirt saying that it was disrespectful to The President, that the lyrics aren’t important enough to Christianity to be put on a t-shirt, and that Jesus Christ did more for us that anyone.

Mineo usually uses his lyrics for t-shirt designs such as, “When you take my hand, I’m so high up I’ll never land,” from his Neverland album. The post is no longer on Instagram, nor is the shirt found on his website, andymineo.merchline.com
