What Up Wit Em? The Dancing Sprint Lady
I know what you’re thinking: what does she have to do with Christian music? The answer: apparently a lot! The quirky woman whose moves are showcased on the heavily rotated Sprint commercial is actually Tee-Wyla, a Christian producer and artist for Illect recordings. Other than the beat she is dancing to, she has also produced countless tracks in Christian rap, the official club remixes for KB’s “Zone Out”, Derek Minor’s “Party People”, and Wes Pendleton’s “I Made It”. Now that’s what’s up!
What Up Wit Em? Virtue
If anybody was a church kid like me, we didn’t get in the mirror and sing TLC, EnVogue, or Destiny’s Child. We were singing our favorite tracks from Virtue, a popular group of singing sisters in the 90’s and early 2000’s. What’s going on with them now? They are back! Sister Karima Kibble, Heather Martin, and Ebony Holland will be releasing music with none other than Da T.R.U.T.H.’s Mixed Bag Ent. Now that’s what’s up!
