Bread of Stone’s new album, Hold the Light, is fresh out the oven and ready for your listening pleasure. The group is based out of Sioux City, Iowa and has been going strong since 2004.
The awesome thing about this group is that they have managed to cross over into the mainstream. While the group gives all praise and glory to God, they have a sound that is catchy enough to appeal to mainstream audiences. After all, isn’t that the purpose of the gospel, to be a light in the midst of darkness, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation?
Whatever your taste, the latest album from Bread of Stone is sure to wet your taste buds as they bring a mix of gentle ballads to electrifying anthems to the table in songs such as, “All For You,” and “Battleground”. The sound might not be what you are used to but I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with your meal. Dig in and enjoy.
